On Saturday, I woke up early to meet Ben and Miranda at the seal on the BGSU’s campus. The heart of it all. The sun was peeking through the trees and you could tell the landscaping had just been freshly updated. It made for the perfect setting.
I knew from the start that these two were my type of people. They laugh UNCONTROLLABLY and knew how to have some fun. They were also great at ignoring the noises I made when reviewing their special moment on my camera screen.
Anyways, so we started on Bowling Green’s campus where it all began for them and then ventured our way to Simpson Garden park where to two like to get-a-way from school and work. It was sweet getting to see them in their element and in a place that brought them so much comfort, but where we ended our time together is what’s most special.
We drove an hour south to a quaint little bridge in Harpster, Ohio called “Swartz Bridge”. Fitting, considering that’s Ben’s last name. What makes this place so special? Well, this is the spot where Ben asked Miranda to become a Swartz. The proposal was so well played that even I got the chills hearing about it. Candles lined the bridge, he walked her to the brick opening… AHH! SO GOOD. So of course we spent some time here reliving all the goodness and creating an even stronger bond.
I love these two people. Not just as now friends, but as people for each other. The way they act around each other when left alone and all the personal little things, aside from the OSU vs. Michigan rival, shows that they are a match made in Heaven. I am so excited for these two and I can’t wait to hang out with them more.
After moving to Columbus, Bowling Green has always been on my mind. When you’ve lived somewhere for 5 years, met your husband, lost your voice cheering on BGSU, and more, a place like that is forever in your heart. When Ben contacted me about his Falcon Flame, Miranda, and their desire to have pics done in BG, I knew this was fate.
