Reid and Anthony were my last wedding of 2016 and boy was it bittersweet. A blog post about that will come soon!
Anyways, these two, their love for each other, and love for their family and friends, could be seen in every aspect of this wedding. Kate Spade and shawls for the bridesmaids, special socks for the groomsmen, patch on dad’s tie, special engravings in the rings, and handmade thank-you gifts were all so special in so many ways.
What really stood out to me the most was the invitation suite. During the planning process Reid and her family were able to hunt down and clean up an old letterpress. She then used this to hand print each individual invitation, accommodation, and rsvp card. Not to mention sealing all this by hand in the most perfect green envelope with a wax seal.
Their first look was the sweetest thing I had ever witnessed. When I told Anthony he could see his bride, he had to take a moment because the emotions came to the surface. His face lit up with he saw Reid and Reid giggled back the tears when she saw Anthony. After some fun pics and exploring of the grounds it was time to get these two married!!!
They tied the knot at Mifflin Presbyterian and celebrated being Mr. and Mrs. at the Ohio Statehouse in Downtown Columbus. This reception… oh man. I have never seen a place so well decorated in my life. The marquee “A” and “R” by the ceiling-touching Christmas tree created such amazing ambient light. The floral centerpieces and lines of greenery paired perfectly with the various votives at each table. It was 100% magic and I was so thankful to be a part of it.
Not only that, I wasn’t alone on this adventure. I had my whole crew of favorite people. Kelsie was my second shooter (she did such an amazing job, you’ll see her groomsmen shots below!), Paige was well, everything (she took photos, assisted video, danced, and made people laugh), then of course Brian on video crushin’ it as always.
To celebrate such a beautiful thing with such beautiful people is an absolute blessing and I’m so happy for my beautiful couple! HAVE FUN ON YOUR HONEYMOON, SPEARS! I’m sure right now you’re sleeping off the plane ride <3 #CHEERSTOSPEARS
