How did you start off 2018?! Well first I got to watch fireworks along the coast of Spain… then the 1st got back into America and started preparing for the first wedding of the year. On Saturday, Alexa and Treg said “I do”. It was one of the most beautiful ceremonies and I still can’t get over how many people came to witness these two give their marriage to the Lord. The church was packed and that just goes to show that they have clearly demonstrated His love proudly.
As we arrived at Alexa and Treg’s home, we knew it was going to be a good day. We were greeted by Alexa’s gorgeous mama with nothing but smiles. Burgundy velvet dresses hug on the windows, final touches were being made to Alexa’s hair, and all the bridesmaids were getting dolled up for the best day ever. Can we also take a second to OBSESS over Alexa’s gown? I had NEVER seen anything like it so it’s uniqueness made me fall in love with it even more. Something else that made it special was the fact I got to be Alexa's "something borrowed". She had been searching for a long time to find the perfect fur to match not only her, but the ones she got for her bridesmaids. She wanted something simple but to still stand out, so I was honored to be able to share something I had with her. As for the boys, they were also having some fun getting ready at the groom’s mom’s house. Treg didn’t seem nervous at all and was definitely ready to reunite with his bride.
At the church, it was definitely cold, but the sun was out and we were feeling brave. All the pics leading up to the first kiss and Mr. and Mrs. built so much excitement that it carried well into the evening!
The reception was SO GOOD. Between the live band and epic first dance, it was truly a night to remember. I don’t think I’ve have ever seen so many people on a dance floor at once.
I loved every minute of this day. The timeline was on point, sun slayed, dress, everything.
I truly hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I enjoyed this day. My feet may still hurt but it was worth every second of it. HERE’S TO MR. AND MRS. FRANCIS!! <3
