Saturday early morning was so gloomy but it got magically bright when I got to (FINALLY) meet Sarah of Sarah Steinke Design << go follow her!!!! She came all the way from Botkins, Ohio for a little mentorship and coffee time. As always, Flowers and Bread delivered when it came down to wanting a quiet spot that was aesthetically energizing. We talked about so many things and I was excited to see Sarah pull out her list of questions. Things get crazy at times and schedules are a pain, but it’s so wild how God makes these windows in our lives to grow with others. It made me feel good knowing that I could share in this journey with her and make a new, BEAUTIFUL, friend in this industry. It also made me remember where I was at in March of 2016 when I drove to Livonia, Michigan to meet my dream lady, Meg, of Meg Darket Photography, to ask her questions and learn about this creative job and all that hustle involved. I truly don’t think that success is measured by the number in the bank account… it’s about the number of relationships you have built and the amount of love you have shared.
Sarah is currently working on pursuing her dream of being a wedding photographer while also being a full-time graphic designer. It's crazy the stuff she can do. Coding a website goes WAY above my head, haha. One of my favorites facts about her thought is that she is a #FalconForever and graduated from my (our) alma mater, BOWLING GREEN STATE UNIVERSITY! AY ZIGGY! I also can't look over the fact that she is a puppy mama and also has one of those super smart husbands that us photographers tend to have. Then obviously while there, I had to take some shots of this gorgeous woman. Can’t wait for more coffee dates and to witness her reach every milestone she has set for her business <3
